Lindsay Mottley, Principal
Welcome to Pearson’s Corner Elementary School! My name is Lindsay Mottley, and I am honored to serve as our school’s sixth principal. I bring to Pearson’s Corner over 20 years of experience in public education throughout a variety of settings. As a Hanover County resident and parent within the school district, I understand the importance of a positive school experience. I am excited to partner with you and connect through the many exciting milestones of elementary school.
At Pearson’s Corner, we provide exceptional learning experiences to empower confident, productive, lifelong learners. We are proud of our tradition of excellence and our strong school community. Our entire staff is dedicated to ensuring that our students’ unique gifts are recognized and nurtured and that every student in our care feels a sense of belonging.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook and participate in our many school and PTA-sponsored events. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can ever be of assistance.
Veronica Pitts, Assistant Principal
Welcome to Pearson’s Corner Elementary School, home of Paw Power! It is my sincere privilege to serve the students, faculty, and community of Pearson’s Corner. We have a duty to cultivate young minds by creating an equitable, student-centered school community that provides excellence in education for lifelong learning. I look forward to preserving existing, rich academic traditions and making new ones.
I am a native of Hampton, Virginia. I started in the field of education in 1993 upon completion of my undergraduate experience at James Madison University. I earned my master of education degree in administration and supervision from Virginia State University in 1998 and have served in administration since 2002. I have served the students and families in Hanover County for almost ten years as assistant principal at Elmont Elementary School and, presently, Pearson’s Corner Elementary School.
Parents, thank you for sharing your most precious gift with us—your children! SOL scores certainly do not encapsulate all we do here at Pearson’s Corner, so please stop by and take a look for yourself at all of the great things we have going on here. It is going to be another dynamic year. I look forward to working with you and your children. If I can ever be of any assistance at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to send me an e-mail or call me at (804) 723-3660. Have a great school year!
